The Mondo Bag Pattern by Quiltsmart is a roomy, easy-to-assemble bag made using Quiltsmart’s printed fusible grid interfacing technique for beautifully matched seams with less fuss.
Designed for travel, quilt guild days, shopping, or simply carrying everything you need, the Mondo Bag is built from 2½" fabric strips and finishes with a generous 10" square bottom and 17" tall sides. This package includes the instructions plus two printed fusible interfacing panels needed to make one bag, making the piecing and assembly especially approachable. It’s also Jelly Roll friendly, or a great way to mix and match strips from your stash.

Fabric Requirements:
- 15 strips measuring 2½" x at least 40" for outer squares and handles, or assorted Jelly Roll strips
- 1¼ yards bag lining and handle lining fabric
- 1¼ yards fusible fleece for batting
The bag uses 208 total 2½" squares cut from 13 strips, with the remaining 2 strips used for the outer handles. 100% cotton fabric is recommended.
Pattern instructions and printed fusible interfacing panels are included. Fabric and additional supplies are not included.
