Jelly Roll Rug Squared Pattern (Pre-order: July 2026)

Impress everyone with your own custom made Jelly Roll Rug! It's a nice and easy project! This squared version is even easier than the original Jelly Rug Pattern.

Great for all skill levels. No stitching around tight curves, just sewing straight, "seams"

• Finished Size: 32" x 42" rectangular area rug

Requirements:

• One Jelly Roll!
• 1 1/2 Yards 96" Wide Cotton Batting
• Batting Seam Tape
• Size 14-18 Jeans Sewing Machine Needle
• 1 Large Spool of Thread (At least 1200 Yards). Aurifil thread is recommended. Even better if it's variegated!

As the rug gets bigger, it gets heavier. It's recommended to have a bar stool or something similar, to the left of you, so if you are sewing on a small table it's high enough to have the rug rest on it, so it doesn't pull your needle from the extra weight!
