Just Another Walk in the Woods by Stacy Iest Hsu

Fairy Tale Fabric done Right!

Do you love fairy tales?

It's always fun to tell your little ones the fabulous and mysterious tales of young children on adventures (well, the ones that are a bit more tame than their originals!)

Stacy Iest Hsu is a designer for Moda who loves capturing the same magical fairy tale worlds and putting her own unique spin on them.

Her collections feature some of your favourites - Little Red Riding Hood, Ariel.. er.. Coral Queen of the Sea, and now Hansel and Gretel!

Her latest collection is called Just Another Walk in the Woods featuring Hansel and Gretel. We have a limited amount of early pre-cuts available for early release (September).

The fabric collection and panel are up for pre-order today. (The U.S. release date is November.)

Just Another Walk in the Woods Doll Panel

Each collection Stacy makes comes with a panel for making her characters come to life as dolls! They are such a cute addition to your kid's rooms (or inspiration in your sewing room). (Images are courtesy of Stacy's blog)

Coral Queen of the Sea and Lil Red Dolls

Here's Stacy's previous doll panel projects. Coral Queen of the Sea and Lil Red! We are kinda bummed we didn't order the panels for both of those ones when they came out. I love Stacy's designs for them!

Hansel and Gretel in the Forest

Here are the unsuspecting Hansel and Gretel exploring the forest. Too cute!

Woodland Creatures

We love the woodland creatures in this one. That bear. Lol. It looks surprised, and maybe even a little bit guilty.

Just Another Walk in the Woods Doll Panel

Here's a picture of the panel. You can take a closer look and pre-order the panel by itself here. The panel is also included with each Fat Quarter Bundle.

What do you think? Do you love Stacy's interpretation and designs for these fairy tale heroes? Let us know in the comments!

Absolutely love this panel. I’m new at sewing and quilting so would love to have this on video with the “how to sew” this. I know it sounds simple for
Pros who sew all
The time but for beginners who use pictures, a video of this step by step would be awesome!
