Our hours of operation for fulfilling orders are Monday-Saturday, 8 am - 6 pm, not including additional overtime put in by staff members. As we are closed on Sundays, there will be no updates on this day.
Today we are picking and cutting orders placed on Nov 8. We are doing our best to also make sure orders cut and picked on this day ship out the same day, however, in some cases it may take an additional 1-2 days to ship once your order is ready, due to when Canada Post or other shipping carriers arrive.
Current wait time for orders:
Without yardage (i.e. pre-cuts, notions) 3-5 days.
With yardage cuts 5-8 days
Batting full rolls 2-3 days
Due to a 300% increase in order volume due to COVID-19, orders with cuts take longer than orders with pre-cuts or notions. You can check your order status by logging into your account on the top right-hand side of our site.*

Due to the huge demand for fabric during the pandemic, we've had a 300%+ increase in online orders since early March, with no signs of slowing down. We're working as hard as we can with reduced staff, overtime hours, and are working late into the night, every night. We're working as hard and fast as we can, so you can get back to sewing. Thank you for understanding!
Update 05/05/2020: We've hired 3 amazing new people to join Team Dinkydoo as of May 5th! We hope to be up to speed once the new hires are trained fully.
Update 05/10/2020: We've hired 2 more amazing individuals who will be starting in a few weeks. We anticipate hiring more responsible individuals who are strict about practicing social distancing in the near future, stay tuned! Update
Update 05/14/2020: We've changed the minimum fabric you can add to your cart to a 1/2 yard minimum due to how long it requires to complete large orders with many small cuts. We are still shipping orders first in, first out, to be fair to everyone. This change is necessary to be able to meet shipping time expectations. Thank you for understanding!
Update 05/20/2020: Due to variances in bolt sizes (i.e. even though the bolt we receive from our manufacturer is listed at 15 yards, sometimes it may be short 1 yard, which we don't find out until the end of the bolt) we are refunding any fabric that is unavailable and shipping your orders right away. Please contact us in advance if you want to be notified if a particular fabric will not work for you with a lesser amount. We will contact you if you have a large fabric cut (i.e. 5 yards) and there is a significant amount missing on our end. Thank you for your patience!
Update 05/28/2020: We are currently looking for 2 more wonderful people to join our team and assist with orders and shipping! If you're in the Greater Vancouver or Fraser Valley areas, apply by email at email@example.com.
Update 06/24/2020: Our 2 wonderful new employees will be starting over the next couple of weeks. We are excited for them to join Team Dinkydoo, and they will be a great help to lower our delivery times!
Please note, our local store is still closed indefinitely for the protection of our staff and customers. We do not offer local pickups at this time, however, we will once we have dealt with the backlog of our current orders.
